Art of the swimsuit

The April 20th workshop responded to cloudy and cooler conditions as Spring is taking its time arriving here on the coast and elsewhere. We rose to the occasion and constructed an indoor set using props and locally found plant life.

Lighting was the focus of our talk and a big window provided the majority of the ambient light as key and a small fill near camera with accent behind. The models, ( above left to right) Logan, Carly, Sofia, Haley and Emma looked great as you can see and enjoyed working with Swimsuits by Amour and other designers as well as Jewelry by Tamora Lee.

Our Location is Carolina Bay condominiums in the Boat basin down town walking distance to everything, food , music, beach access, boating and shops. 1.5 hrs from intestate 95 and Route 40 east

Our models are recognized as published and polished professionals that grew up on the beaches of NC from Kill Devil to Southport and attend local colleges when not modeling. To be paired up and shooting in and around our locations means no waisted time or shots and all the assistance you want anytime.

Art of the Swimsuit continues it educational photography workshops with a Mini shop to include a 2 hr photo editing class and a 2 hr Beach shoot on the North End in Carolina Beach. We will access the area via 4WD vehicles toward the setting sun and have a bonfire afterward.
